As you know, a year has passed since we began our church reconstruction project. God willing, we shall be able to complete the project in the coming year. The projected total estimate is about Rupees Three Crores. It is quite encouraging that we have been able to raise around Rupee One Crore by the abundant blessings of our Merciful Father. The parish expects all the families to pay their ‘tithe’ (one tenth of total income) for three years in order to raise their targeted amount. It is a real blessing to involve yourself in this great scheme which has been a dream of several generations. We hope and pray that you will pay your tithe and get blessed. When the church reconstruction project reaches its blessed conclusion, the whole land will be blessed.

The proposed new church has been designed by Architect Mr. Jacob Cherian, Place Designs, Ernakulam. M/s Oommen Kochummen Associates, Mavelikara are the contractors for civil works. Please log on to www.vakathanamchurch.org for relevant information about the church.
